Students Help Smash Out Hunger!
Highlands Church sponsors Smash Out Hunger each November at Lewis and Flamson Middle Schools. Students bring canned food or pay for a chance to take the sledge hammer to a donated junk yard car.

Smash Out Hunger is a collaborative effort of Highlands Church, Loaves & Fishes, Paso Robles schools and local donors to raise funds for the hungry. Paso Robles Auto Wrecking and Mara and Jeff Giroux donated the car, and Ace Towing gave a free tow for the car that students helped demolish for a small fee to benefit Loaves & Fishes.
